In aluminium electrolysis, the carbon anode is consumed, whilst the anode rack is reused. To ensure it can be precisely reconnected to a new anode, its geometry must be restored. Our automatic anode straightening system measures the anode rod, crossbar and pins, evaluates the result against defined tolerances and straightens the anode only when necessary. Thanks to its integration into existing overhead conveyor systems, this creates a seamless process for primary aluminium smelters, delivering reproducible results and reducing manual labour.
