About us

For 30 years now, the Unterschütz Group has been a reliable partner for customised solutions in the fields of mechanical and plant engineering, laser technology and CNC machining. What began in 1995 as an engineering office is now internationally recognised: The company supplies the whole world from its base in central Germany. At the same time, the company maintains its "Made in Germany" label - as an all-round provider from planning to commissioning.

Around 100 employees at the Hettstedt and Sangerhausen sites work on our customers' orders.

Extrusion line for Hydro (Germany) - 2024

Modernisation of the P22 MN extrusion press: backloading with new hydraulic system, block loader, bolster shears, press rest shears and safety flap. Complete discharge system with intensive air cooling, double-puller system with flying hot saw and sample handling. Automatic stretching system, finish saw with sound insulation, stacking and scrap removal.

Belt system modernisation for E-MAX (Germany) - 2024

Modernisation of the P 30 MN belt system

Unterschütz plants for Impol in Slovenia – 2023

The project includes automatic acceptance of extruded bolts with product tracking, sample and scrap handling, storage as well as testing, sawing and peeling equipment through to the ready-to-ship packaging of long and short bars.

Extrusion line for AKG in Latvia – 2022

Complete 8" extrusion line including bolt handling, bolt heating, extrusion press, run-out system and ageing furnace.
